Percy Jackson and the lightning thief.
Percy Jackson and the lightning thief is a fantasy because there are talking animals called the centaurs and there are gods and magical powers like percy jackson summoning a wave. Its also is coming of age because he's young and has to make the choice of going on his quest and only in the end he finds out who his dad is. Its also a suspense because he almost dies a lot so it gives a lot of suspense.
Young Sherlock Holmes.
Sherlock Holmes is a mystery he has to solve puzzles and solve crimes and obtain secrets. Its also a realistic fiction because sherlock holmes and watson could exist. Its also a coming of age becuase sherlock holmes is reasonably young, often has to make difficult choices like to trust someone or not and and only finds out the mystery at the end of the book. There is also suspense because there are lots odf shooting and fights which give suspense.
Jeffery Archer Only time will tell
Its a coming of age because harry is only a boy. He also has the choice of going to bristol grammar school or not and he only finds out who his dad is at the end of book. It also has suspense because theres the danger of being caught snooping around a house. Its also realistic fiction because the characters could actually exist and the characters are involved in real historical events. Its could also be a mystery because he investigates who his father is around a certain person.
Sound of Thunder.
I think its a science fiction because its set in the future(2040),and is set in a different dimension where time travel exists. Its also a suspense because when the T-Rex attacks them its dangerous.
All in a summers day.
I think its a science fiction because its set in the future on Mars in a different time period and dimension. I think it also has suspense because when she's locked in the underground closet theres the danger of here dying. Its also realistic diction because the characters could actually exist like the children or the teachers and it could really happen that we go and live on Mars.
Raymond's Run.
I think it was a suspense because there was a danger of Raymond's sister loosing and being humiliated by Gretchen. I also think its a realistic fiction because Raymond and his sister could actually exist and could be involved in real races .

Genres Script No.2
One day jacks mother sent him out to sell thier family cow. On his way he met a man who said he would give him 3 magic beans for the family cow. Jack accepted his offer and skipped happily all the way home to tell his Mum. When Jacks Mum found out she threw the beans right out the window and told Jack to go to bed with no supper at all. In the morning Jack woke to something tickling his face, it was a giant beanstalk. Jack quietly sneaked out and began to climb the beanstalk. When he reached the top he almost fainted because there infront of h was a giants castle. Jack got up and ran to the massive door and climbed inside what looked like a kitchen. On the table he saw a magic harp, a chicken that layed golden eggs and a bod full of gold. Jack quickly grabed all of them and jumped of the table and began to run. Whilst he was doing so he woke the giant so he hurriedly ran to the beanstalk and raced down to the bottom at tremendous speed. When he got to the bottom he got and axe and cut down the beanstalk just before the giant got here and so that was the end of the giant and Jack and Mother lived happily ever after!

Fable:
The rabbit and the turtle:
http://www.moralstories.org/the-rabbit-and-the-turtle/
Fables: Short stories, in verse or prose, with a moral ending. These types of stories are credited Aesop (6th century BC), who told tales of animals and other inanimate objects that teach lessons about life.
Legend:
Robin Hood
Legends: While based in history, these stories embellish the life of a real or imaged person. Often their abilities are supernatural, or God-like. The facts and adventures of the person are exaggerated, making the individual famous for their deeds.
Myth:
Locness Monster
Myths: Some stories have to be told as related tales to be meaningful. Myths portray themselves as representing a distant past. They contain common themes and characters, often "gods." Myths attempt to explain the beginning of the world, natural phenomena, the relationships between the gods and humans, and the origins of civilization. Myths, like legends, are stories told as though they were true.

And from the great breathing cage of the upper body those two delicate arms dangled out front, arms with hands which might pick up and examine men like toys, while the snake neck coiled. And the head itself, a ton of sculptured stone, lifted easily upon the sky. Its mouth gaped, exposing a fence of teeth like daggers. Its eyes rolled, ostrich eggs, empty of all expression save hunger. It closed its mouth in a death grin. Landlady
4.
Examples of imagry from the landlady:
-But the air was deadly cold and the wind was like a flat blade of ice on his cheeks
-He was wearing a new navy-blue overcoat, a new brown trilby hat, and a new brown suit, and was feeling fine.
5.
-She is poisoning the man so she can stuff him.
When she said she is very particular about people she allows to stay because she likes young people because they have soft skin.
-The landlady poisons him with cyanide.
When she says that the two other visitors are still here they are actually just stuffed up on the 4th floor.
6.
I think the highest climax in the story is when he's signing the guest book and he sees the names Christopher Mulholland and Gregory W. Temple because he began to wonder who they were whilst the landlady just kept offering him poisonous tea so she could stuff him whilst he didn't now and just admired her stuffed animals.
7.
It makes me think the landlady in a evil psyho-path who kill's and stuff's stuff.
(I already new that the almond smell was poison)
8.
I dislike the ending because I want to know what happens at the end. I don't mind cliff hangers in the middle of the story but I don't like them at the end because since its a sort story there in no next book to find out what happened.
